SoundPulse ("we", "our", or "the extension") is a Chrome browser extension that provides audio volume enhancement, equalization, and sound processing features. This privacy policy explains how SoundPulse handles user data.

1. Data Collection

SoundPulse does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

The extension operates entirely on your local device. All audio processing is performed in real-time within your browser using the Web Audio API. No audio data is ever sent to external servers.

2. Local Storage

The extension stores the following data locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local:

• Your audio settings (volume level, equalizer configuration, preset selection)
• Your license key (if you have purchased the Pro version)
• Per-tab audio preferences (if using Pro features)

This data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted externally. You can clear this data at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing your browser's extension storage.

3. License Verification

If you purchase a Pro license, the extension communicates with our license verification server solely to validate your license key. This communication sends only:

• The product identifier ("soundpulse")
• Your license key

No personal information, browsing data, or audio data is transmitted during license verification.

4. Permissions

SoundPulse requires the following Chrome permissions:

• activeTab — To access the currently active tab for audio processing
• scripting — To inject the audio processing engine into web pages
• storage — To save your audio settings and license information locally
• tabs — To manage per-tab audio settings (Pro feature)

5. Third-Party Services

SoundPulse does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The extension contains no external dependencies, CDNs, or third-party scripts.

6. Children's Privacy

SoundPulse does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13. The extension does not collect any data from any users, including children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
