TL;DR — TabSaver Pro does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All information stays on your device. No accounts, no tracking, no analytics.

1. Overview

TabSaver Pro ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that helps users manage browser tabs by automatically suspending inactive tabs to free system memory. This Privacy Policy explains what data the Extension interacts with and how it is handled.

2. Data Collection

The Extension does not collect any user data. Specifically:

No personal information (name, email, address, etc.)
No browsing history or web page content
No IP addresses or device identifiers
No cookies or authentication tokens
No usage analytics or telemetry
No crash reports or error logs

3. Data Stored Locally

The Extension uses chrome.storage.local to store the following data exclusively on your device:

Whitelist entries	Domain names you mark as "never suspend"
Session groups	Names and tab URLs you save as sessions
Memory statistics	Aggregate counts of tabs suspended and estimated memory saved

This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server. It is stored using Chrome's built-in local storage API and can be cleared at any time by uninstalling the Extension or clearing browser data.

4. Network Requests

The Extension makes one type of network request:

License Verification — When you voluntarily enter a license key in the Settings panel, the Extension sends a POST request to https://websnap-license.orangecc2025.workers.dev/verify with the product identifier and your license key. The server responds with a simple boolean (valid: true or valid: false). No other data is sent with this request.

If you do not enter a license key, no network requests are made. The Extension operates fully offline for all free-tier features.

5. Permissions Usage

Permission	Reason
`tabs`	Query open tabs to display in the management UI and use `chrome.tabs.discard()` to suspend inactive tabs.
`storage`	Persist user preferences and statistics locally via `chrome.storage.local`.
`alarms`	Schedule periodic auto-suspend checks at user-configured intervals.
`activeTab`	Access the currently focused tab when the popup is opened for quick actions.

6. Third-Party Services

The Extension does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or data collection services. There are no embedded third-party scripts, iframes, or tracking pixels.

7. Children's Privacy

The Extension does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected or transmitted, there is no risk of children's data being inadvertently gathered.

8. Data Sharing

Since no data is collected or stored remotely, there is no data to share. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer any user information to third parties.

9. Changes to This Policy

If this Privacy Policy changes, the updated policy will be posted at https://devtoolhub.cc/tabsaver-privacy-policy.html with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage users to review this policy periodically.
